All parties must comply with the regulations set by the Government of Saudi Arabia, especially in performing Haj and using Haj Visas issued by the Haj Management Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The matter was emphasised by the Minister of Religious Affairs at a Doa Selamat and Ramah Mesra Ceremony with the country's intending haj pilgrims. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman also reminded that compliance with the regulations is very important to keep the country's image from being tarnished besides maintaining the reputation of haj pilgrim management.
The ceremony aims to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala so that the pilgrims will always be protected and safe and that all matters are simplified throughout the implementation of the Haj Manasik. Brunei Darussalam's intending haj pilgrims will depart for the Holy Land on four flights, namely on 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th of May.
